Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing tax compliance and advisory services for our diverse clientele, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax regulations while providing exceptional client support.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for various entities including C Corporations, S Corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to high net worth individuals and families.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on tax issues, staying current with changes in tax laws.
- Assist clients in understanding tax liabilities and strategies for minimizing tax exposure.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance in tax preparation and review processes.
- Utilize tax software such as Lacerte and CCH ProSystems to streamline tax preparation and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA certification required; Enrolled Agent designation is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Proven experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns for various types of entities.
- Familiarity with tax software including Lacerte and CCH ProSystems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
